Cloth FTW!
Yeah, I know. Boo! Huntard! Who cares? I know they are quite fun if you actually know how to play them. I got one to 71 on a PvP server, remember? The thing is, I also wanted to try something different, so it's an Alliance Hunter. *goes to hide in the corner*
I'll be back with a couple of screens soon.

Damn addons!
Well, anyway... this is me again, your average DPS DK. Of course, level 80 know and having fun. The thing is, I love AddOns. Especially at level 80, where you kinda need 'em. Problem is, I need a user interface (UI). And most of them SUCK! So, I'm gonna have to make my own. I'm already working on it, and as soon as I have something, I'll post it here and maybe at wow.curse.com.
Thanks for your patience, enjoy your raiding and check back soon! I promise I'll be back every day now.

Patch 3.0.8 - Coming Soon
Patch 3.0.8 will be coming out soon and the patch notes for the PTR (Public Test Realm) have already been made available to the public. I won't post the whole list of changes, but I will link the page where you can find these changes:
WoW PTR - Patch 3.0.8 ChangeLog
Opinions anyone?
Always wanted a Priest

Yeah... what the title says! Since my first day playing WoW, I've always wanted a Priest. Never had the patience to play one though (not past level 21 anyway, and yeah, he was Alliance). Now that my girlfriend is back in business, she asked me to help her create her new character. 20 minutes later she says: "OK, so I'll be a Priest!"
Well, believe it or not, I'm kinda jealous. I want one, too. But I guess It'll have to wait. I really wanna get my DK to level 80, get some decent gear, do some raids and all that high-level stuff. Then, maybe I'll get my Priest, and he'll probably look like this.
Outland at 58 and Northrend at 68 ?
Well, to be honest, I did jump through the Dark Portal as soon as my DK dinged 58 and had no problem whatsoever. I will also go to Northrend at 68 (I already did so with my other characters and had no problems). However, you have to move fast and find the quests that are available for you at those levels. And that can be a problem, 'cause they aren't many. Jame from WoW-Pro has an interesting post on her blog explaining why you shouldn't do like I did and rush to Outland/Northrend.
It's up to you to decide.

The Craft of War: BLIND
LE: Well, unfortunately the guys at Vimeo (or someone) removed the video, so it's no longer available. Well anyways, here it is on YouTube: The Craft of War: BLIND.
Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Will be back with more of these as soon as I find them. PS: Damn! That Blood Elf Rogue chick looks hot ^^
Recommended AddOns
Here's a list of the AddOns I'm curently using:
- ArcHUD2 - great addon that adds health and mana/energy bars for the player (and pet), enemy cast time and some other useful stuff.
- Auctioneer - scans the Auction House and helps by providing useful info like cheapest price for items or best price to use when posting an item in the Auction House.
- LightHeaded - provides information about most (if not all) quests in the game - actually reads forum posts about quests and brings them to you in the game so you don't have to Alt-Tab all the time.
- MobInfo3 - maintains a mob database with complete info on every mob you have encountered.
- Omen Threat Meter - Quote: OTM "provides accurate values of your group's relative threat level on individual enemies, so that you can see when you're in danger of pulling aggro (or, if you're next on the snack list if your tank bites it).
- QuestHelper - great for beginners and pros alike. It makes questing a lot faster, reducing downtime. Grab it!
- Recount - graphical damage meter. Nice and useful. (Note: there is another addon called Recount2, but it hasn't been updated for a long time)
- Titan Panel - adds a panel that can be customized to show a lot of useful information you may need.
Worth mentioning is that ArcHUD stopped being updated for a long time, so I was about to switch to another great HUD addon:
- IceHUD - looks a lot like ArcHUD (it's actually based on the same framework) so it has the same functionality.
... however, they updated it (ArcHUD) and it's now working with WotLK, so I haven't switched. Both addons are great so pick the one that suits you better.
As you might have noticed, a great site with tons of WoW AddOns and resources is Curse Gaming.
Enjoy! And if you have other addons worth mentioning, please post comments. Thanks in advance.
WoWelcome to The Undercity!
I've been playing this game for two years now (with some breaks in between caused by a lot of work and some holidays), and I thought I should share some of my WoW experience with you guys. I could even learn new stuff from you guys (since I never made it all the way to 80).
My WoW playing history so far:
- Started playing as a Night-Elf Druid on a PVE Server;
- Enjoyed that Druid until I got to level 26 (I think), then (when The Burning Crusade came out) I switched sides (For the Horde!) and started playing a Blood Elf Warlock;
- Enjoyed the Warlock until level 53;
- A couple of friends convinced me to change servers and start anew on a PVP Server;
- Started playing a Night-Elf Hunter;
- Enjoyed the Hunter until level 71 (after WotLK came out);
- Got bored of the Hunter and started playing a Human Death Knight;
- Enjoyed the DK until level 70;
- I then realized I missed my old friends from the PVE Server so much, I had to go back;
- Found them there, they welcomed me back, so I had to stay (and made that choice in an instant);
- Fast-leveled the Lock until level 55 so I could create a DK on this server, too;
- Started playing a Blood Elf Death Knight;
- Currently I'm still enjoying the Belf DK, he just got to level 64 last night and growing fast.
That's it for now. But there will be a lot more. Here's hoping this first long post didn't bore you to death. And here's me, promising you guys to post as often as I can with lots of info, guides, useful links for every WoW player out there and all that stuff.
Welcome to The Undercity!
